Job Description

Want real, hands-on experience running live sporting events? Bayou Nation hosts tournaments and events across many sports, from weekend events to week-long summer tournaments. We're looking for motivated people to help run things on-site and, as they grow, take the lead.

This role is a great fit for people studying or working in sports management, event management, facility management or a related field. You don't need to be a current student. If you're organized and like being where the action is, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do

• Help run on-site operations during weekend events and week-long summer tournaments
• Handle check-in, field and venue setup, scheduling updates and game-day logistics
• Be the go-to person for teams, coaches, parents, officials and vendors
• Coordinate with concessions, grounds and facility staff so events run smoothly
• Solve problems on the spot and keep things on schedule
• Serve as the on-site administrator during some events , overseeing operations and making decisions

What We're Looking For

• A current student or recent grad in sports, event, facility or hospitality management, or anyone with a real interest in the field
• Strong communication skills and a calm, professional presence under pressure
• Organized and dependable, and takes initiative
• Comfortable on your feet for long days, outside and in the heat
• Available on weekends, and ideally for week-long tournament stretches in the summer

Nice to Have

• Experience with events, athletics, recreation or customer service
• Knowledge of sports scheduling or tournament software
• Leadership or supervisory experience
